Abstract

Creating on literature work still based on the thinking of uniqueness, creativity, and originality. But in the process of creating, we already neglected something that mentioned craftsmanship. So, this paper believed that a creative work always have been doing imitation. There is the same one in the uniqueness of work. In the case of prose in Indonesia, we will present author who realized imaginary figure in the narration through the way of craftsmanship. The object is “Saat Bunga Kuncup, Saat Bunga Mekar” (“When Flower was in Bud, in Rise”). It describes the figure focused on the ideal man and its craftsmanship compared with the way of Mira Wijaya and Amaruszati’s novel. Using method of narratology by Victor Skhlovsky, the result proved that creating on the ideal man in the prose must have skill of narration. If the skill is weaknes then it influence to its value. It implies on that in the discourse of cultural changing in Indonesia, the problem of originality neglected necessity of the art work imitating to the other work.
