Abstract
This paper discusses the learning process of Bahasa Indonesia at the department of Malay-Indonesian Interpretation and Translation Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea. It provides description on the some aspects, such as students, lecturers, teaching materials, syllabus, and other supporting materials in teaching processes. In addition, this paper also discusses the policies taken by HUFS to give a consideration to the milieu of higher education in Indonesia. Finally, the paper gives a picture of how important the department of Indonesian in some overseas universities, in the relation of promotion of culture, politic, tourism, economic, and other related fields bilaterally and internationally.
