Abstract
Lexicostatistic is a method to determine the relation of any isolects. The determination of relation between Diponggo, Tambak, and Abar-Abir isolects is based on qualitative method. Result of the lexicostatistic is shown as follow. The percentage of cognate word between Diponggo isolect with Abar-Abir isolect is 83,33%. Diponggo isolect and Abar-Abir isolect have dialectal relation in one language, namely Javanese. The percentage of cognate word between Diponggo isolect with Tambak isolect is 45,22%. In fact, Diponggo isolect and Tambak isolecst are two different languages coming from one language family, namely Proto-Malayo-Javanic. The percentage of cognate word between Abar-Abir isolect with Tambak isolect is 38,15%. Abar-Abir isolect and Tambak isolecst are two seperate languages coming from the same language family of origin, that is Proto-Malayo-Javanic.
